Match Report

This was a close, tight tussle, and we made Kingborough earn their win. Despite an excellent start, we couldn’t sustain our good first quarter performance, and Kingborough fought back to head us by 5 points. In the end, we just did not take our opportunities – and they did. I give them credit for the way they ran and took the game on. This is what I wanted us to do, and early on we looked terrific. We are sure to get our momentum back if we improve our conversion in front of goal and pick the ball up cleanly. Lets be up and about for our first ever TUFCW final. We would encourage all club people to get to Abbotsfield Park 1215 on Sunday to cheer the team over the line and into the next week of finals.  Belles Player of the week – Tarny Kelly

MATCH REPORT:

It was a tough pill to swallow losing to Hutchins on Saturday. It was one of those games that could of gone either way with both teams giving their all. But in the end big Mitch Williamson slotted one from 50m from a free kick and the siren went not long after. Nathan Hardy and Jake Tammens tried hard with Skipper Mick Booth keeping Murfitt- Cowan goaless in a great effort. Blake Waight stood up at half forward and provided a contest in the air and on the ground, with Hall and Stevens kicking 3 each to be the main scorer's for the game. Our thoughts are with young Connor Barling who may miss the remaining games with concussion after he was tackled into the turf. All the best with your recovery young fella we wish you a speedy return to health, you have had a terrific season. This week we Travel to the TCA to take on the Roosters on Friday Night, we pushed them last time and we will be looking to go one step further. MATCH REPORT:

Against a Hutchins team that came to play we looked lethargic and struggled to get to the ball first. In a scrappy game we were never going to win by kicking two goals for the match. Lets regroup against DOSA Friday night and show the competition we deserve our finals spot.
