MATCH REPORT:

OHA dominated from the first bounce and quickly had our defenders under pressure with their big names in Callinan and Standen running rampant with the constant supply coming from their midfield. Our young group need to find a way to compete and stay in contests for longer periods, the Ships led us in every area. Nick Fenton battled well and Trent Stevens started looking like his old self when moved into the back half and Josh Kinch again did a wonderful job on the Dangerous Dylan Grant but our contributors were too few on the day to compete with a well drilled OHA outfit.
The last quarter was the main positive for us, winning it 6 goals to 2 with Chris Howard, Oli Fyrett and Nathan Hardy showing what we can do if we hunt the footy and move it quickly. Unfortunately, the game was gone at three quarter time. Our Reserves had a terrific win and played some encouraging team footy and we will be looking to promote guys that are willing to put the team first.
Things won’t get any easier this week as we head back out to Richmond to take on the Blues who are 3 wins and 1 loss from their first 4 games. It's a massive challenge but one we will plan for and am to give a better account of ourselves.

MATCH REPORT:

Great win for the Reserves against an undermanned OHA. The style of footy is how we want to play for the rest of the year. Good to see Tubby finely hitting the scoreboard with half a dozen and Brad Shaw dominating across CHF. Connor Berry and Joe Broadbent also impressed in what was a team effort. Let’s bring the same style against Richmond this Saturday.
