Congratulations to Paul Brooks - 250 games.
Paul
Brooks captained the reserves in his 250th
game for the University Football Club, which will also see him Awarded Life
Membership to the Old Scholars Football Association.
Brooksy played his first game for the Rainbows in 1997,
going on to win Best First Year Player. His performances in that season and the
following two were of such a high standard that it resulted in his selection for
the TUFC team of the 90’s. Regularly finishing in the top few places in the
clubs best and fairest award, including the runner up in the 2009 B&F, he also
received the Most Consistent Award on two occasions and the converted Knucka
Rundle Award in 2009. He was also awarded TUFC Life Membership in the same year.
Brooksy was also on the committee for a number of years and always played
important off field roles on game day when injured.
Brooksy is considered a true legend of this club and is
held in the utmost respect by all so we hope you can make it to a presentation
for him next week and celebrate this remarkable milestone.

Two wins for the day and a real thriller for the Seniors
